A very nice and affordable place, I can only recommend them. I've picked the basic plan and with booking ahead (which took me less than 5 minutes), and insurence included coast me less than 4000 yen. You can upgrade your plan in store if you'd like but the only thing I was maybe missing a bit from the package was the extra ribbon for my obi, but even withouth that, the staff really made me feel pretty and comfortable.
If you are hesitating because you are worried about the sandals, don't worry, they feel like wearing flipflops so if you are confident in those then this shouldn't be a challenge. Besides it felt nice to change out from the sight-seeing-shoes for half a day.
Again, very nice staff, the choices even in the cheapest package were just the right amount to pick and choose from and not get overwhelmed. And the Palace and the Hie shrine nearby make for a great photoshot!
