Very good service and selection of kimono available

Lovely experience. The team here are very professional. The location is excellent as it's close to the gardens. The staff were helpful and kind. There are lots of different packages, we supplemented the basic one with upgrades, many were at 500 yen each. I went for a slightly nicer wicker bag and a decorative element for my obi. The lower tiers are more vibrant so if you want a more subdued kimono design you'll likely need to upgrade. The nice thing is you can upgrade at anytime. They also did our hair which we appreciated. The lady who did my hair was so fast I barely noticed she had braided it. We had a great time in the gardens and received many lovely compliments because of these beautiful kimonos and the work of the staff. Things to know if you are considering going here, booking in advance gets you a discount. I am in the range of a US size 12-14 and I'd say that is probably the upper range of the ones I saw available. They might have other sizes but I'd check before booking. Overall we had a lovely time and the experience was a memorable part of our trip.

We had a great day wearing our kimonos from Vasara Kimono Rental. They were very welcoming and helping with our choice of kimono and accessories. We highly recommend this address!

Walk-in. Wonderful service, received us with the warmest hospitality. We bought the retro modern style which is the pricier option (~10000 yen) and found it was well worth it.
